I found out the reason I have been feeling so awful. I have pneumonia. Severe pneumonia on my left lung. I went to the ER last night after urgings from everyone I know, and some that I don't. I thought I was getting better so I was hesitant to go. I am glad I did. When I went in I told the nurse and then the doctor, that I just had a bad cough, no fever, runny nose that was clear, a lil fatigue, and that was it. At first she thought it might be something viral, then I told her I have had it at least 6 weeks. Then she thought it might be a touch of brhonchitis (sp?), she asked why I hadn't came in sooner. I explained the whole thing of me being 18 days late and thinking I was preggers, so she did another pregnancy test to confirm a negative before doing my chest x-ray. She was doing the chest x-ray to confirm the brhonchitis (sp?) and then came back saying it was pneumonia. I asked her if I was gonna have to stay (my son did once will explain in a minute) She then said she should keep me, however I was acting well enough to fight it without hospitalization. (whoa thats a big word!) However I am to return if I feel the slightest bit worse. She then gave me 2 antibiotic pills while I was there and a scrip for 10 more days, I also had to meet with Respitory Therapy before leaving. They gave me a breathing treatment and then taught me how to use an "adult" inhaler and spacer. (I was using a childrens spacer before)

So now I am home, came home about 2 am, the antibiotics gave me an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach when I first got home, but 3 doses later, I am no longer feeling it. Also I am feeling a lil bit better.

Three years ago Chris was hospitalized with pneumonia. At the same time we were waiting to test him for leukemia. It was a very scary time for us. They had to transfer him from one hospital to another. Thankfully he ended up not having leukemia. His chest x-ray upon arrival into the ER then, was better than mine. Which is why I was so scared they were gonna keep me for a few days. However, he was extremely dehydrated and feverish plus the whole leukemia thing, to where as I had no fever and was hydrated.

So now I sit here bored. I am tired of resting/sleeping, however I do not feel like doing anything productive. Especially cleaning my house! Housework on a normal, healthy day can be challenging, add in me being sick since forever, and plus trying to get things back in order since my vacation. Ugh.... Luckily this weekend we are staying home. (so far nothings planned!) Ok I should go now, I am babbleing......

Oh you should go check out a very cute baby!
Look at his happy, blue, eyes and then smile at the cuteness of baby boys!
